
Buche di Nese (lit. Holes of Nese)
The Buche di Nese are a series of emerald-coloured freshwater pools, waterfalls and rocks that are perfect for diving. This corner of paradise is located a few kilometres from Bergamo in the small hamlet of Burro.
The best way to reach the Buche di Nese is to follow path no. 532 through a small village that leads to the forest. From here, the first pool can be reached in a few minutes.
To get to the second pool, you need to scramble over some rocks with sneakers or, even better, hiking boots.
Church of Olera
The Church of Olera is a stone-built Romanesque church dating back to the 11th century. The interior consists of a single nave with a wooden truss ceiling. The walls feature frescoes dating back to the 15th century, including a painting of Saint Anthony the Abbot and another depiction of Saint Roch.
The church has undergone several restorations over the centuries, but despite this has retained much of its original appearance. Restoration of the church in the 1980s brought to light numerous archaeological finds from Roman times.
The Church of Olera is one of the main tourist attractions in the area and offers visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the history and art of Bergamo province.


The Fantoni sacristies of Alzano Lombardo
The San Martino Museum of Sacred Art in Alzano Lombardo holds two sacristies coming from two of the town’s churches in Bergamo province: the Church of San Giovanni Battista and the Church of San Martino.
The Sacristy of the Church of San Giovanni Battista was transferred to the museum in 1976 where it was restored and enriched with a collection of sacred objects from the Church of San Martino.
The Sacristy of the Church of San Martino is also a place of great artistic and historical value dating back to the 17th century. It features Baroque frescoes and stucco work by important local artists. Both sacristies are two remarkable examples of Lombard sacred art and are testament to the cultural abundance of the Bergamo area

Bergamo Ebike Tour is a project to popularise cycling itineraries, which was established in 2020 with the aim of promoting the area of Bergamo province and boasts the support of VisitBergamo and Bergamo tourism.


Le Valchirie Equestrian Centre
This is a horse-riding facility located at the foot of the hills of Brusaporto. Founded out of a love for nature and animals, the centre is devoted horse riding and all activities that concern equine management.
The centre comprises an old farmhouse that was recently renovated to offer its members maximum comfort and relaxation.
It also offers a vast array of services and activities, including riding lessons for beginners and experience riders, horseback excursions in nature and riding courses for both children and adults.
Città dei Mille Tennis Club
This sports club was founded in 1974 and is situated in Torre Boldone. It offers its members six clay tennis courts, four of which are equipped with lighting for evening play.
The club actively promotes tennis among young people and provides a comprehensive range of programmes for children and teenagers, including mini-tennis courses and tournaments for youngsters. Furthermore, the Città dei Mille Tennis Club is also engaged in promoting a healthy lifestyle through sport and physical activity.


Ai Colli di Bergamo Golf Club
This renowned golf club was founded in 1996 and covers an area of approximately 70 hectares. The golf course offers 18 holes distributed over undulating terrain, providing a breathtaking view of Bergamo city and the surrounding mountains.
Ai Colli di Bergamo Golf Club is equipped with modern practice facilities, including a putting green, a chipping green and a practice area with covered bays. It also has a large clubhouse with restaurant, bar and panoramic terrace.
Golf competitions and tournaments are regularly held for members, and golf courses are offered for beginners as well as individual lessons with qualified instructors.
Le Cornelle Wildlife Park
Le Cornelle Wildlife Park, situated in Valbrembo, Bergamo Province, is one of Lombardy’s largest and most important zoological parks. Covering an area of approximately 100 hectares, about 35 hectares are open to the public.
The Park has around 1,200 animals from 120 different species, including mammals, birds and reptiles from around the globe. Among the park’s most notable inhabitants are big cats such as tigers, lions and panthers, as well as elephants, giraffes and zebras.
The Park is divided into themed areas, where visitors can engage in up-close encounters with the animals, making it an ideal destination for a day filled with nature and fun, while getting to know new animal species and learning valuable lessons about the importance of wildlife conservation.
